Tory Burch Fall 2014 Runway Show
Creative. Tile runway show with the audience outlining a swirl. Line presents layering, dresses, patterns, ruffles, lace, fur, sheer, high-low, wool, skirt, blouses, leather, prints, sweaters, turtle necks, asymmetry, sequence, shirt dresses, pleats, evening wear, wrap wear, drapery, and trench coat. Color consists of white, gray, black, hunter green, beige, gold, cream, charcoal, navy, silver, brown, maroon, and red. Great collection! There are a few pieces that leave me questioning but overall, the styling is on point as well as demanding attention. From beginning to end, the pieces leave you wanting to see more. The runway only enhances the collection. Very sleek, clean cut and a reflection of the collection. Overall, this would get 9/10
Tory Burch Spring 2015 Fashion Show
Creative. Line presents dresses, stripes, patterns, texture, classic shirt, sequence, trench coat, prints, beach wear, wool, sweater, knit, drapery, blouses, sheer, boxy style, structure, skirt, and fringe. Color consists of yellow, white, black, red, gray, navy, orange, maroon, cream, and silver. What an amazing show Burch put on. I would wear most of the pieces in this collection. Whether it would be mixing or keeping with the way Burch styled the pieces. I can see these pieces going far. Many people fear stripes/lines but Burch found a way to make them look fabulous, sexy and strong. With a clean cut runway, the collection stood out the most like a work of art. Overall, this would get 10/10
Tory Burch Fall 2015 Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week
Creative. Line presents pea coat, dresses, layering, drapery, mixing patterns and prints, vest, sequence, work wear, asymmetry, blouses, skirt, sweater, boxy style, fringe, leather, and evening wear. Color consists of gray, black, white, red, navy, taupe, charcoal, maroon, gold, purple, and brown. This collection has elegance and uniqueness about it. Rich tones that in no means disrespectful but would remind me of a historical rug that the creator put a lot of time in. You find your self not wanting to step on but admiring it. A beautiful piece of fabric. This collection leaves you wanting to see all the detail work. You can see the amount of work that is put into this collection. Even the runway have a hint of patterns in it. All together, this collection would get 10/10
Tory Burch Spring/Summer 2016
Creative. The opens up with rock style runway the with audience outlining a swirl. Thick style doors at the front of the runway sets the show in a different location. Line presents dresses, prints, patterns, cut out, texture, lines, fringe, lace, swim suit, high waist pants, evening wear, strapless, skirts, classic shirts, a-line, culture inspired, crop top, high-low, sequence, metallic, wrap style, and boxy shirts. Color consists of blue, orange, white, green, hunter green, gold, and pastel. A lot of the collection definitely has that spring flirty feel to it as well as the culture inspired tailoring. Against the stone flooring, this collection just shines. Overall, this would get 10/10
