Designer of the week is Tory Burch. This Pennsylvania designer moved to New York City after graduation where she worked for Zoran followed by the magazine; Harper's Bazaar. Burch gained experience moving forward to PR and advertising work with Vera Wang, Ralph Lauren and Loewe. Amazing opportunity all around. Over the years, Burch finally was able to launch her fashion label "Tory Burch" in February 2004. The collection sold out on the first day in a retail store when Oprah Winfrey endorsed her line on her show. Burch became the the next big thing in fashion that has launched her company worldwide. Tory Burch's collection consisted of watches, home decor, accessories, handbags, ready-to-wear, shoes, beauty, and fragrance. Burch's collection have a sense of preppy boho that is easy to wear and versatile to women of all ages. You may remember her as a guest judge on Season 7, Project Runway. This women is a sweet heart and if given the chance to work with her, it would be an amazing opportunity to learn something new.
