Franco Moschino

With each generation, the knowledge of past creations and designers who have passed is fading. The generations rarely even learn who is in power now. So the designer of the week is Franco Moschino. In my other post, you see the recent fashion shows to give you an idea of the collection now. In this post, you will get to see some of his past collections. Compared to now, the collection has been updated. 

 Franco Moschino is known for colorful, lively and provocative designs. In a sense, his designs poked fun at the fashion establishment. Moschino Couture started in 1983. His collection started off as casual-wear and jeans. Eventually as time passed, he begun to create lingerie, evening-wear, shoes, menswear and perfumes. He also created Cheap and Chic line in 1988 where many rushed to wear his clothes. He then became a successful and famous designer.

 Since his passing, his former assistant, Rossella Jardini, took over the company.
