Burberry Fashion Shows

Burberry Prorsum Fashion Show Spring/Summer 2014 London
Creative. Fashion show is presented in a closed glass area. Classic straight runway with a gray panel towards the back. Line presents lace, skirts, blazer, work wear, cut outs, sheer, dot pattern, form fitted, mix of menswear, sweater, classic shit, trench coat, floral print, texture, sequence, evening wear, dresses, and stripes. Color consists of pastels, coral, white, beige, red, yellow, brown and gray. Love the pop of color. A lot of sheer and see through fabrics. Layering and almost effortless designs. The styling ideas are on point and eye catching. Love it when they mix womens and mens collections in the shows. It feels like you are getting to watch two shows at once. The runway, the location as well as the ending show of pedals falling from the ceiling was perfect for the collection. It enhanced it as well as completing it. Overall, a great collection. 10/10
Burberry Prorsum Fashion Show Fall/Winter 2014 London
Creative. Great opening to the show. The back panel starts changing before oping up to an artist playing on a piano and the model beginning to walk. Line presents asymmetry, dresses, evening wear, floral print, shawl, mixing patterns and prints, trench coat, layering, wool, lace, shapes, adding menswear, winter coats, sheer,  Color consists of beige, brown, purple, green, yellow, maroon, navy, black and orange. This collection screamed fall in an amazing way. The idea of an unbalanced look is interesting. The oversize shawls with interesting detail design work is just beautiful. Thick with a pop of color keeps your eyes wanting to see more of the collections. Even though it's a fall collection, it still shows that you don't have to over layer yourself. Just enough layers is perfect for the women on the go. However, I probably wouldn't wear a full sheer dress in winter. It might be too cold for that. Overall, great collection. Once again the music, the runway, and location was perfect for the collection. 10/10
Burberry Spring/Summer 2015 Fashion Show
Creative. Great ceiling display and same location as the 2014 spring collection. The runway reflects the ceiling and the show opens up to an artist with a guitar playing you a soft tune. Line presents skirts, patterns, prints, leather, dresses, work wear, texture, denim, shapes, asymmetry, graphics, trench coat, feathers, structure, boxy style, tool, sheer, evening wear, velvet, adding menswear, fading and suits. Color consists of black, yellow, blue, pink, gold, white, gray, green, maroon, brown, and turquoise. A very different collection from what all the other designers have done for their spring 2015. Glad to see the models are not wearing heels. They are wearing sandals, bals, van style shoes. Another interesting collection by Bailey. Mixing a little dark with light for this spring collection. Definitely forward and in. Overall a great collection. 10/10
Burberry Fall/Winter 2015 Fashion Show
Creative. Similar to the 2014 fall runway, this show opens to another artist singing for the audience. Line presents dresses, layering, mixing patterns and prints, fringe, shawl, leggings, trench coat, velvet, adding menswear, fur, floral, evening wear, wool, straps, peacoat, stripes, sequence, texture, bulky jackets, trench coat,  Color consists of black, brown, maroon, navy, green, gray, and purple. There is so much play on patterns and prints. One of the models actually reminded me of a younger Howard Stern. There are strong pieces. Pieces that can be mixed with other pieces and or stand alone. It would be interesting to see how people take to the leggings. Love the ending. Almost like it's Burberry's way of celebrating the showing of their collection. Overall this would get 10/10
