Anne Valerie Hash Fashion Shows

Changing things up with showing the backstage look to the fashion shows. These are a great opportunity for those who want this kind of job to see what's it's like. This isn't as easy as it looks, you have to constantly do quick thinking. Whether you are the designer or the staff that is helping put on the show. I have had the opportunity to do this twice and I loved every second of it. So if this is something you want to do. Check out the show and check out the backstage clips.
Anne Valerie Hash S/S 2013 Paris
Creative. Square shape runway with the audience outlining the runway. Line presents silk/polyester, high waist pant, skit, lose tops, ruffles, tube top, new style of pant, peacoat, tool, sheer, mixing patterns and prints, drapery, boxy style, work wear, floral print, jumpsuit, metallic, asymmetry, dresses, evening wear, trench coat, sports jacket, and work wear. Color consists pastels colors, beige, white, gold, yellow, black, and gray. The new innovative idea to the pants really interest me. Combining a skirt with a pant in a way that is different is genius. However the pieces that in the front looks like a dress but the back looks like pants is a little hit and miss. Really love the dresses and the drapery techniques. The idea for the runway was a good idea but it would of better to see the girls walk up or walk down the stairs instead of just walking a square runway. I would of also only had the runway light up for a more dramatic approach to this kind of collection. Would of made the colors pop more even though there's more pastels then anything. Overall, this would get 8/10
Backstage Look
See the workers put the collection together. Get the models together as well as talking about the show. See how much detail goes into making the show the way the designer wants. It's very rare to see clips like these.

Creative. Classic straight runway except with the audience on one side of the runway. What looks like a ere decorative room. A lot of detail on the walls leading to a plain white canvas that the models stand and pose. Line presents suits, evening wear, dresses, sheer, mixing shapes, crop jacket, layering, lace, mens style inspired, baggy style, jumpsuit, leggings, and work wear. Color consists of white, gray, black, pink, and baby blue. Love the background of the show. Great connection with the collection in sophistication, well put together and a play on lines/shapes. I do like the update version of men's style for women. Overall this would get 10/10

Backstage Look
