This documentary film is a profile about the cheerful veteran
photographer Bill Cunningham. Bill Cunningham is obsessed with taking photos
and fashion. This is his story on how he survived the high and lows of New York society. Cunningham’s
enormous work documents it’s time and place as well as its individual flair.
“We
all get dressed for Bill,” says Vogue editor Anna Wintour. If you’re in New York, there could be
a chance that you might run into Bill. Bill is a working man who doesn’t sit
still for long. Bill says, “The fashion show has always been on the street.
Always has been and always will be. I’m not interested in celebrities and their
free dresses; I’m interested in the clothes.” Bills fingerprints are on
everything that he touches and works on.
