Coco Before Chanel

Coco Before Chanel, also known as Coco avant Chanel, is a biography story of the early life famed French fashion designer Coco Chanel. Actor Audrey Tautou plays Chanel. In this film, a young Chanel is working at a provincial bar. She is both a seamstress and a singer where she earns the nickname 'Coco' from the song she sings nightly with her sister.

She meets Baron Balsan who gives her an entry into Fashion society. This gives her a chance to develop her gift for designing. Coco meets and falls in love with Arthur Capel who helps her create her business. The hats that she created had become increasingly popular to to this day her company continues to flourish.
