Zac Posen New York Fashion Week Spring 2014

Creative. L shape runway with curtains towards the front. Audience along the sides of the runway. Clean cut runway. Line presents dresses, mixing fabric, ruffles, jewel tone, form fitted, tool, evening wear, metallic, gowns, era inspired, and patterns. Color consists of cream, gray, pastel colors, white, silver, gold, purple, tan, green, and red. The play on fabric and ruffles at times gave the gowns a princess vibe and or a goddess vibe. The huge drapery ruffle towards the top of the gown is interesting but I wonder how others will take it. Once again, great ideas on the gowns. Overall this would get 9/10

Zac Posen Fall Winter 2014 Fashion Show

Creative. T shape runway with curtains along the wall. Seems more like a secluded fashion show. Line presents skirt, sweater, blazer, dresses, workwear, patters, oversize jackets, gowns, volume, mermaid style, details, tulip skirt, jewel tone, evening wear, and high-low dresses. Color consists of maroon, black, gray, blue, red, brown, navy, turquoise, and purple. Love the gowns. Definitely can see them on the red carpet. The attention to detail and play on fabric was on point. This collection keeps you wanting to see the next piece. Elegant, full and together. Overall, this would get 8/10

Zac Posen Spring Summer 2015 Fashion Show

Creative. L shape runway with what looks like a small location. Kind of diappointed on where the runway is held. Feel bad for the audience watching the show because they are on top of each other but looking forward to the collection. Line presents suits, pen stripes, pants, evening wear, skirts, jumpsuit, volume skirts, bulk, cape, dresses, a-line, high-low dresses, gowns, Color consists of white, black, and red. Some pieces was a hit and miss for me. No connection to the runway but there are some elegant, sophisticated pieces. Some are strong and great by themselves. Definitely can see Angelina Jolie, Victoria Beckham and Gwyneth Paltrow wearing some of these pieces. Overall, this would get 8/10

Zac Posen New York Fashion Week Fall Winter 2015

Average. L shape runway and in a much larger location. A lot more audience and more space. Line presents dresses, velvet, fur, peacoats, robes, metallic, gowns, volume, metallic, evening wear, Color consists of red, hunter green, royal blue, gold, maroon, and red. Some was a hit and miss with this collection. The sweater over the either long skirt or dress, didn't make the cut. Some pieces do have that sex appeal, elegance as well as movement. A bit of surprise on this collection. Totally though Zac Posen was going to do something completely different but this was still a good collection. Not my favorite. Overall, this would get 7/10
