Giambattista Valli Fashion Shows

Giambattista Valli Spring/Summer 2014 Haute Couture Paris
Creative! Love the runway and the piece of art that sits in the middle of the runway. Classic straight runway and circle lights above the art piece. Line presents dresses, skirts, gowns, sleeveless shirts, volume, sequence, asymmetry, cape, high-low dresses, ruffles, sheer, stiff/boxy style, wrap skirts, evening wear, cocktail dresses, floral print, peek-a-boo skin, and texture. Color consists of white, black, blue, green, purple, pastels, navy, off white, and burgundy. Elegance, creative new style and almost every piece demands attention. Shows a strong woman but in a playful way. I would wear a lot of these pieces to shows, events and so on. Love it when designers add extras to the runways! This would get 10/10
Giambattista Valli Paris Hate Couture Autumn/Winter 2014
Creative! Love the ceiling, the back door as well as the runway. Classic straight runway. Line presents suits, strips, wrap skirts, dresses, high-low dresses, evening wear, volume, fur, ruffles, floral print, sheer, texture, crop top, sequence, metallic, lace, fringe, tool, high waist capris, loose pant, and silk/polyester. Color consists of black, white, gray, beige, pink, red, gold, purple, yellow, and green. Great pieces and having the models walk in a zig-zag is a new way of putting on a show. Your left keeping and eye on the model just to see the whole outfit. Love the play on the lines/stripes along with the sophistication and movement in some of his pieces. Overall, this would get 9/10
Giambattista Valli Fall/Winter 2015
Average. Show opens to a straight runway connected to a square platform. Line presents flair pant, velvet, 70's vibe, floral texture, work wear, stripes, pea coat, dresses, sequence, sweater, layering, ruffles, plaid, vest, volume, sheer,  jumpsuit, prints, mixing fabrics, shirt dresses, lace, patters, and fur. Color consists of beige, black, white, red, gray, purple, pastels, and gold. Not digging the random patches of velvet pieces on shirts, and or bottoms. It would be interesting to see how people will take to these kinds of pieces. However, I do enjoy the mixture of floral print and plaid. The metallic mix with other fabrics is a change. Some pieces was a hit and miss but still a great show to see. Definitely a unique way of mixing patterns and styling techniques. Overall, this would get 7/10

Creative. Same runway as the last show.  Love the outline on the ceiling. Line presents dresses, sequence, floral print, texture, feathers, fringe, halter tops, asymmetry, stripes, flair pants, pea coat, lace, crop top, patterns, prints, work wear, maxi dresses, mixing fabrics, evening wear, cocktail dresses, sheer, and shirt dresses. Color consists of white, pastels, black, gray, and purple. A lot of great pieces that have a hint of artistic flair. Elegance with movement, a lot of these pieces really grabbed attention while being on the runway. Overall, this would get 10/10
