BCBG Fashion Shows

BCBG Max Azria: Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2014
Creative. "U" shape runway with the audience in the middle. Logo brand name towards that back of the runway. Line presents shirt dresses, sleeveless shirts, asymmetry, mixing fabric, floral print, sheer, trench coat style dress,  high-low, peek-a-boo skin, jumpsuit, ruffles, evening wear, capris, tool, work wear, splats, patterns, skirts, crop top, high waist pants, and boxy style jackets. Color consists of white, gray, green, light blue, tan, black, yellow, and navy. I absolutely love the dresses with the spatter blue color that has a mix of other colors. Great movement pieces! There is so much attention to detail and a play on lines. The different style of dresses are very innovative. I do wish there was something done with the background of the show. In a sense to enhance the fashion show as well as the pieces. Overall, this would get 9/10
BCBG Max Azria: Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Fall 2014
Creative. Same runway as the last fashion show. Very simple. Line presents sweater, shawls, fur scarfs, layering, sportswear, asymmetry, high-low dresses, fur coats, stripes, leather, tool, lace, sequence, pea-coat, mixing fabric, wool, sweater dresses, geometric shapes, trench coat, leather, ruffles, patters, work wear, and skirts.  Color consists of black, white, gray, orange, teal, beige, brown, and red. Just watching the show, you get the sense of warmth from the collection. Definitely perfect for winter and uniquely designed. There was only a view pieces that are in question to if people will accept them. The geometric design, asymmetry cut, and styling makes this collection a worth wild collection. Overall, this would get 9/10.
BCBG Max Azria: Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2015
Creative. Similar runway to the last couple but instead of blue, it's a pastel pink. Line presents ruffles, sheer, work wear, skirts, lace, layering, blazer, peek-a-boo skin, sequence, wrap dresses, evening wear, stripes, boho style, jumpsuit, floral print, layering fabrics, asymmetry, work wear, cultural pieces, sheer, Color consists of pastels, white, beige, blue, and pink. Great movement and the collection has a fun vibe to it as well as sophistication. Strength with a hint of elegance in every piece. These pieces can definitely be seen on the red carpet. This collection also had an Easter vibe to it but it screamed spring/summer. Overall, this would get 9/10
BCBG Max Azria Fall/Winter 2015
Average. Similar to the last couple of BCBG runway shows. Line presents fringe, dresses, sweater, ruffles, asymmetry, capris, patterns, layering, mixing patterns, pea-coat, quilt style, vest, sweater dress, geometric shapes, fur vest, sheer, and shawl. Color consists of gray, white, brown, charcoal, orange, red, burgundy, beige, black, and navy. Some of these pieces was a miss for me. I'm not sure how the loose style capri is going to be accepted by everyone but for someone who is short, it will not make help your height. The patterns are a nice touch to enhance the design but the fall of 2014 in my opinion was better then this collection. It will be interesting to see how our fashionistas grab this collection and style it for the world. Overall this would get 7/10
