Alessandro Dell'Acqua Fashion Shows

No.21: Milan Fashion Week Spring 2014
Average. Classic straight runway with white walls as the background. Line presents sheer, lace, dresses, texture, sequence, floral print, shirt dress, ruffles, evening wear, work wear, crop top, cardigan, skirts, blazer, trench coat, shorts, classic shirt, cut outs, and swirl pattern. Color consists of black, charcoal, white, pink, blue, peach, and green, The new twist to a pair of shorts with lace over them resembling a skirt is a unique and comfortable way. However, I'm not sure how many people will accept this piece. This collection resembled a more casual look which is trendy for the women on the go and or going to work. Overall, this would get 7/10
No.21 Fall/Winter 2014
Not that creative. A unique outline runway that if shaped around the audience. Line presents trench coat, sequence, sweater, dresses, skirts, sheer, asymmetry, multicolored sequence, pea coat, wool, shirt dresses, checkerboard, mixing patterns, feather, fur coat, and mixing fabric. Color consists of red, gray, light brown, green, dark brown, white, and cream. I enjoy the runway and be able to use up all the space that is being offered to show the collection. However, at times, the collection seemed less youthful. Most of the pieces in the collection would work well by itself. The sequence skirts have not raised yet in the fashion industry so I feel this is a miss. Overall, this would get 4/10.
No.21 Spring/Summer 2015
Average.  Unique runway, similar to the last fashion show. Line presents shirt dresses, pleats, evening wear, sequence, sheer, work wear, lace, classic shirts, floral print, shorts, skirts, plaid, cut outs, crop tops, and high waist pants. Color consists black, beige, brown, white, green, yellow, and red. The dresses that are inspired by overalls are a nice twist. Love how plaid has come a long way. Definitely a casual runway show. Interesting choice of direction for his spring collection. Looking forward to seeing how all this will be accepted by the press. I will say the shoes are very distracting. Overall, this would get 7/10

No.21 Fall/Winter 2015
Average. Square shape runway where only the runway is lit up. Line presents trench coat, pea coat, sweater, floral print, sequence, wool, fur, dresses, texture, lace, over size sweaters, work wear, knit, hoodies/pull overs, sheer,  mixing patterns, ruffle, asymmetry, boxy style, mixing fabrics, and layering. Color consists of gray, brown, gold, charcoal, beige, green, white, and peach. There are some great pieces and then some that are a miss. There are two pieces that I can see Nina Garcia saying, "there is too much going on". The random placement of ruffles just was a miss. I can't see celebrities nor your average everyday women wearing the two pieces. Watching, researching and keeping up with fashion, it shows that those pieces didn't succeed in the fashion industry. Overall, this would get 6/10
