John Varvatos Spring/ Summer 2014 Menswear Milan
Creative. A square shape runway with mirrors along the side of the walls. This allows the media as well as celebrities to see the outfit on the side. A unique way for a small room to still get the outfit seen. Line presents suits, patterns, stripes, velvet, layering, blazer, scarves hanging on the side of the outfit, ruffle, tailoring, asymmetry, sheer, trench coat, vest, cardigan, faded effect, stripes, plaid, sweater and leather. Color consists of black, purple, gray, charcoal, red, light brown, and white. I enjoy seeing the different suits walk the runway. They definitely have that rocker vibe which was what Varvatos was intending. I can see a lot of men/teens wearing these clothes to get that edgy rocker look. Deep down, every guy wants this look. Overall I would give this a 10/10
John Varvatos Fall/ Winter 2014
Creative. Stair style runway leading to a visual theater display. Line presents metallic, patterns, boxy style, asymmetry, velvet, layering, suits, sweater, cardigan, mixing texture/fabrics, trench coats, stripes, ruffle, feathers, studs, and leather. Color consists of black, charcoal, gray, white, and purple. Love the ending of the show where you get to see all the models on stands, in the seat and in front of the visual theater display. Definitely helps the imagination to his collection. He really thinks about the beginning all the way to the end of the show in coordination to his collection. Enjoyed seeing different suits compared to the last fashion show. It's great that he makes sure to change and evolve the collection each season. Overall this would get 10/10

Creative. A swirl runway that the audience outlines. There are curtains and white trees along the runway. Line presents layering, suits, asymmetry, velvet, knit, cardigans, vest, suspenders, mixing texture and fabrics, trench coats, faded effect, scarves, Color consists of shades of gray, charcoal, white, beige, shades of brown, and black. The high-low blazers are a nice change to the traditional blazers. Definitely a brighter collection so the runway actually helps enhance the collection. Great show and still amazed at what all Varvatos come up with when it comes to suits. Never a boring collection. Overall this would get 10/10
John Varvatos Autumn/ Winter 2015 Menswear Milan
Creative. The show starts with the light pulsing. Along the sides of the walls are fall trees. Fog is shown and then the show starts with the model walking on leaves. Line presents different styles of trench coats, layering, suits, turtle necks, pencil lines, patterns, fur, leather, plaid, sweater, wool, and asymmetry. Color consists of shades of brown, gray, black, purple, and green. Definitely feel like he was inspired by the Beetles in this collection. Absolutely enjoy the leaves on the runway. They go with the fall theme and helps the imagination of his collection. Varvatos brings so much creativity in his collection as well as the show. A must see designer for all his upcoming fashion shows. Overall this would get 10/10
