Giorgio Armani Fall Winter 2013 Milan Menswear
Creative. Classic straight runway but with a twist. On the sides of the runway, there is a light that outlines the runway. As the model walk there is an additional light that follows the movement of the model. Line presents suits, velvet, pinstripes, military style jackets, metallic, parka coat, leather, trench coats, plaid, fur, sweater, vests, quilted style jackets, boxy jackets, t-shirts, mixing shapes, knit, prints and patterns. Color consists black, hunter green, gray, and maroon. The different ways of using velvet was really entertaining. In a way of not making it look wrong with styling helps. Love the runway and what it does when the models walk. All the gentlemen look sophisticated, clean cut and ready to take charge. Overall this would get 9/10
Giorgio Armani Spring Summer 2014 Womenswear
Average. Classic straight runway with light shinning on the models as they walk down the runway. Line presents straight pant, plaid, work wear, shorts, pleats, silk/polyester, shawls, babydoll dresses, A-line, dresses, ruffles, mix of prints and patters, sequence, collarless jackets, skirt, sheer tops, boxy jackets, Color consists of beige, pink, gray, blue, black, white, and purple. Almost like a marble or watercolor design on most of the outfits. Not sure about the pleated shorts but most of the outfits had movement, sex appeal as well as sophistication and elegance. Overall, this would get 7/10
Giorgio Armani Autumn Winter 2014 Menswear
Average. Similar runway to the womens fashion show runway. Line presents suits, layering, mixing patterns and prints with solids, blazers, fur, boxy, sweater, wool, winter coat, ruffle style at the end of blouse looking shirts, vests, asymmetry tops and jackets, velvet, bomber jacket, leather, trench coat, quilted, and pinstripe. Color consists of shades of gray, black, blue, white, and red. Similar collection to his last fall collection. Armani continues to bring innovation ideas for menswear. Changing how clothes sit on a mans body as well as the styling. It's understandable to let the clothes do the talking but to enhance the clothes, it would be better to switch up the stage, the color and do something with the back of the stage. Giorgio Armani is known for the sleek clean and put together look in which his runways reflect it but switching it up would put people on their toes. Overall this would get 7/10
Giorgio Armani 2015 Spring Summer Womenswear
Not that creative. This time it's a white runway with the Emporio Armani name at the back of the runway. Line presents skirts, peacoats, prints and patterns, dresses, blouses, suits, crop tops, sequence, wrap dresses, asymmetry tops and bottoms, jumpsuit, high waist pants, sweater, fringe, capi, sheer, boxy, slim pant, pleats, mixing texture, and boxy jackets. Color consists of beige, black, gold, gray, silver. and white. Some of the pieces in this collection would be great separates. The rest was a hit or miss. Kind of bummed that there wasn't more color added being that this is a Spring/Summer collection and that color workwear is becoming more and more popular. Almost feels too safe. Overall, this would get 5/10
