Fashion Show Tom Ford Autumn Winter 2013 London
Creative. Classic straight runway with what looks like a mirror at the back. Instead of just having the lights on everywhere, they have the lights following the models as they walk down the runway. Line presents mixing patterns and prints, loose shirts, fringe, asymmetry angles, work wear, evening wear, trench coat, dresses, floral, hoodie, skirts, sheer, sports jackets, tribal, sequence, color blocking, thigh high boots and fur coats. Color consists of white, royal blue, black, gray, brown, yellow, pink, and red. One dress looks like it had a mohawk going down the back of it. I don't know if that will be liked by many. A very unique and interesting collection. I love how he does a lot of fringe and now fringe is popular. Shows that he is a trendsetter. I would give this a 9/10
Tom Ford RTW Spring 2014
Average. Classic straight runway with mirrors towards the back of the runway. Line presents leather, skirts, asymmetry jackets, trench coat, dresses, swirl patterns, work wear, sheer, and sequence. Color consists of brown, white, pink, black, gray, blue, and red. Definitely a rocker style with a hint of chic sophistication. I enjoy the affect of the mirrors because it makes it look like the runway is going on forever and it also helps to see the back of the dress as well as the front. I would wear the leather outfit. I do wish something was a little different or added for a more cohesion or to enhance the collection. This would get a 7/10
Tom Ford London Fashion Week Fall Winter 2014
Average.Classic straight runway with the mirror at the back of the runway. Line presents velvet, fur, dresses, hooded shirts, skirts, knit, work wear, boxy shirts, contrast, animal print, graphics, over size fur coats, leather, hooded dresses, asymmetry cuts, layering, and metallic. Color consists of black, white, beige, brown, and red. Very dramatic chic with the styling as well as the pieces. Most of the outfits are good separate and work well as a whole which that is what the average shopper likes to do. Buy separates that they can make whole. I would give this a 7/10
Tom Ford Spring/Summer 2015 London Fashion Week
Average. Classic straight runway leading to the back which has a mirror. Same as the past runway shows. Line presents dresses, work wear, patch work, sheer, flair pants, skirts, suits, scarfs flowing in the back, high waist pants, horizontal lines, bondage, sequence, swirl patterns, and metallic. Color consists of black, gold, and silver. Not sure if the random placement on the breasts will be accepted by people. Some interesting pieces and a lot of sex appeal. Bare skin and showing it all. Definitely has a goth take to the collection. It is kind of funny to watch the girls. They look uncomfortable as well as trying to get off the stage quick. Even though this was for Spring/Summer collection, it really didn't feel like Spring/Summer. I would give this 6/10.
