Marc Jacobs Visual Display

Creative. The brick style on the windows is a great way to enhance the display. Guitars on the mannequins and what looks like speakers all around. Instead of red speakers, I would of done black with the yellow and blue trim to make the outfits pop more and to draw the eye to the middle of the display where the mannequins are standing. Gives the idea of a band playing on the street with the graffiti on the bricks. However, the girls are not really in band/street wear so that kind of throws off the cohesiveness. It does look fun and it is eye catching. This is also an old display so the mannequins are expected but with todays mannequins, it would be nice to see a the mannequins holding the guitars or doing some other movement. The idea is there! This would get 8/10
Average. With this being an old display, it's expected to see the old style mannequins that have little movement. I don't know who would wear shorts in winter so that is a little off but the car in the display is the focal point of the display. Which then leads to the front mannequin before going to the others. It would of been cool is they added something on the windows so that the back of the store isn't the first thing you see when you look up. Maybe white snow fading into the window along the top? This display does seem like it's missing something or a little off. Not really cohesive with the outfits, small trees, snow and random cow in the back. This would get 5/10
Not that creative. This display is attached to the display that is shown above. This display seems to be a quick thought and it's not really displaying the clothes well. To see the clothes, you would have to come right up on the display and look down. I do like the fluff resembling snow on the ground and the South Park sign. I would of at least put something to hold the clothes or a child mannequin or something to bring interest. I do enjoy the different levels making it seem like the trees and mountains are further away from the sign. It looks like all the detail work went into the display above. This would get 4/10
Creative. Very interesting display. The lines really play with your eyes and created that optical illusion that the garments seem longer. I do like the touch of red in the display which they become the focal point being the only color in the display. The lines help the eye to travel throughout the display. The bicycle displaying the purses is a creative idea. Glad to see that the bikes are white instead of having stripes on them as well. That would be a little much but it gives the eye a break. With all the lines in the display, having a clear background and not too much going in the display is actually needed. This would get 8/10
Not that creative. Feels like the display was quickly thrown together and not really thought out. The only thing on the wall is a picture of a lady in a red stripe swim suit wearing red heel wedge shoes. Which probably is the inspiration for this display. The color theme is cohesive but this display seems off. Black everywhere and there are purses sitting on displays. Doesn't seem really beachy unless this is supposed to represent having fun at night? The outfits do go with the spring/summer theme. The focal point is the picture which connects to the right mannequins before leading to the purses and then the left mannequins. This would get 5/10
