How often should you wash your jeans?

Do your jeans fade fast after a couple times of washing? Do your jeans rip after a couple times of washing? Do they shrink? How often do you wash your jeans? To hygienist this may disgust you but did you know that you should only wash your jeans after 4-5 wears?

This may seem much but if you look at it, not everyone wears a one pair jean on a daily basis. A lot of people switch between multiple pairs such as light and dark, destroyed and acid wash, skinny, boot, slim and super skinny. If you don't sweat in your jeans, around toxic smells on a daily basis, or do a dirty daily activity such as farm work; there is no need to wash them after one wear.

Not washing your jeans on a daily basis actually helps to keep the dye in the jeans longer, relaxes them after a first wash and if you turn your jeans inside out, this helps prevent them from shrinking as well as keeping the dye in one area after a first wash. Keep the freshness of your jeans and therefore, making it easier for you to keep your jeans longer. In the end, more money in your wallet to spend somewhere else.
