Alberta Ferretti
Designer of the week is the lovely Alberta Ferretti. She opened her first boutique in 1968 called Jolly. Designing her first collection in 1973, she began showing seasonal collections at the Milan runway shows in 1981. Ferretti jeans was launched in 1989 and was renames as Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti. Ferretti is known for presenting clothes that are reminiscent of The Great Gasby. She is also known for creating designs with twisting, draping, and tucking techniques. A subtle layer look with erotic qualities. Her target market is for the party folks; cocktail crowd. With her lovely effortless gowns, her brand continues to grow to around the world.
