Unzipped

This documentary follows the fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi as he prepares to stage a fashion show. At the beginning, Mizrahi had no ideas till he watched “the Call of the Wild”. His mind begins to start turning over ideas. Ideas start turning into sketches and sketches start turning into garments. You see Mizrahi's crafty and engaging personality who is driven by excitement and creativity despite the chaos.

 

Mizrahi frequently quotes famous lines from movies that he loves and he is also the narrator of this film. They're appearances from Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Cindy Crawford and Kate Moss, as well as many other designers and celebrities from the fashion world. “Unzipped” gives a good sense of who he is without the personal details.
