Dior and I

Dior and I, also known as Dior et Moi, is a documentary that enters the House of Christian Dior. Belgian Raf Simons was hired to replace John Galliano at Dior. This film is behind the scenes look at how Simons realized his vision at his first Dior fashion show. Given only eight weeks, the Haute Couture collection was created.

In the film, Simons comes off as calm, rational, with an occasional flare of temper but an innovator. "The past is not romantic to me," says Simons. "The future is romantic to me." During the duration of this film, you see the long and arduous process of creating the Haute Couture collection. The true labor of dedication, charming and sometimes humorous group of collaborators.
