The four key trends for Spring/Summer 2015 are Artisanal,
Thrift Shop, Streamline, and Avant Pop.
Artisanal has geometric patterns and linear border designers
for visual appeal. They’re a mixture of different cultures with bright colors
as well as neutrals. Boxy embroidered tops and shift dresses. Textiles are: leather, lace, suede, jacquard, and
eyelet.
Thrift Shop combines classic comfort with aesthetic;
a retro inspiration. Prints mixed with vintage color palette. Modern take on reinvented thrift shop pieces. Pencil skirts, shirt jackets,
oversized coats, and printed full skirt dresses. Textiles are: suede, cat and
bird prints, charmeuse, and embroidery on sheers.
Streamlines simple but modern appeal gives a
relaxed feeling with an athletic attitude. Neutral and skin tone colors with a pop
of blue, navy and clean lines. Sweatshirts, blazers, cropped shirts, shirt dresses, Bermuda shorts, and bomber jackets. Textiles are:
Sheer knits, chambray, cotton, lightweight denim, mesh, and nylon.
Avant Pop influenced by strong art. Playfully bright and colorful with a combination of animated-hues and bold prints. Boxy tops and jackets, crop tops, embellished
dresses, and dirndl skirt. Textiles are: Stretchy jersey and double knit jersey,
nylon, burnout patterns, jacquard and sequinc.
