Christian Siriano
Designer of the week is the fashionable Christian Siriano. His success happened after winning the fourth season of the hit series Project Runway. He was the series youngest winner to present fashion forward pieces. Launching his collection in 2008, he has gained over 1.2 million in revenue. Definitely one of my favorite designers. Siriano always had an interest in costume design. It was the costumes that inspired him to pursue a career in fashion. He has designed clothes at a young age and worked as a hair stylist. Alexander McQueen is one of Siriano's favorite designers and once he graduated from college, he moved to New York where he did a brief internship for Marc Jacobs. On top of designing clothes, he has also creating low-cost shoes which you will find at Payless ShoeSource. You will also find him with Victoria's Secret for his make-up line, connecting with LG to create a fashion-themed phone, gift cards with Starbucks, sponges for cleaning and accessories. He continues to dip his hands in everything that surrounds him. Making a name for himself one step at a time.
