Average. Beijing display. The lines on the display helps draw your eye to the mannequin. It's also different from many displays that choose to put nothing on the glass window except their logo or brand name. Distracting the eye from noticing the empty space in the display. I do like that there is no back board to this display. Seeing into the store helps the display visually and gives the customer a glimpse to what is in the store if they are not 100% sure on going inside. This would get 7/10
Creative. London display. Great use of texture falling from the ceiling in the display. It definitely is an eye catcher and the focal point of the display. Leading right to the mannequin wearing the white outfit before heading to the mannequin wearing the silver outfit. The mannequin leaning up against the wall is a nice change. When looking straight at the display, you even notice that the texture acts as a split in the display. To the left is a white canvas and to the right is the store itself which is kind of dark. So maybe it's jumping from light, gray to dark? A mixture of hard and soft? Busy on one side and clear on the other side? The longer you look at it, the more little things pop out leaving this display interesting. This would get 10/10
With there not being many displays from Damir Doma, I chose to show you this magnificent flag ship store. The photo above is also from this store. The neat aspect of the inside display is that the mannequin is sitting on the ground and looking straight at you. This display resembles a room to do some studying and or work. Shows off the shoes, the outfit, the accessories and the theme is cohesive. To the rest of the store, this would definitely be a store that you would want to visit. There is mirrors on the ceilings and stairs off to the corner. The cement walls was left original on purpose. This store does carry men's and women's collection.
The unique thing about these stairs is that he has a second set upside down connected to the ceiling. Almost making it look like a maze or the store in reverse. This store isn't full of merchandise like you would find at any other store. There is a pair of shoes underneath a selection of wardrobes which is something that is different from many flag ships. This way so that once the customer comes in to shop, it's almost like the whole outfit is picked out for them. This is also a great way to prevent theft. This store has a mix between hard and soft. A hint of edge, raw, geometric shapes, polish and clean cut. This definitely reflects Damir Domas personal aesthetic vision. This store is located in Paris.
