In the 1990's the first men's and women's collection was created. Leading them to Milans Fashion Week in 1996. The Etro family used textiles and fashion as art rather than an expression. The Etro Spring/Summer 1999 Fashion Show is really creative. They have the models on moving platforms. The models stand still like mannequins and the light flickers like a lightning show. It's different but unique and I have yet to see any other designer do this with their fashion show.
