Phillip Lim
Designer of the week is Phillip Lim. Not many people know of him and his designs. Some of his designs can be found at Target, Nordstrom, Saks, Polyvore as well as many other Boutiques and Department stores. He is an American fashion designer of Chinese descent. He fled to Southern California to escape Cambodia's civil war.Before starting his label, he worked for Katayone Adeli's. He co-founded and therefore became creative director of 3.1 Phillip Lim in fall of 2005. For his collection, he aimed to add street elegance and known to be an accomplished tailor. Mixture of dressy with casual. He featured his first collection in New York. His collection consists of womenswear, menswear, kidswear, shoes and accessories. Chic and effortless.
