When doing research on Phillip Lim, I noticed that he currently has pop up stores. Pop up stores don't actually have Visual Displays to attract others. So for this post, I'm featuring their flag ship store in West Hollywood, CA. His flag ship store is like no other. Their are no windows, just one entrance. With the exterior of the store having a different appeal from other stores, it brings curiosity and creativity.
Definitely a one of a kind which is grabbing attention from other stores. This store is on my wish list to visit!
Once you enter the store, you are greeted with curve white walls. Unique to his collection, the curvy walls help direct the customer to the next location. The walls add appeal and brings in the wow factor that trumps any store. The lighting helps the customer to see the detail on the walls as well as the clothes. The marble flooring makes for easy cleaning but I do enjoy the wood break point from the white curvy walls. However, not all box areas in the store has wood, some have a swirl wall design.
Every time you walk around the corner, you see a mannequin with a different outfit. Sometimes two mannequins but not a lot in one location. This is pleasing to the eye and not too distracting. If you look at the next photo, this is the aerial view of what the store would look like. If you have seen any of his collections, you will notice the connection and therefore, his trademark.Definitely a one of a kind which is grabbing attention from other stores. This store is on my wish list to visit!
