Ugly Betty

Television show that resolves around a quirky 22 year old named Betty Suarez. With similarities to “The Devil Wears Prada”, Betty lands a job at a high fashion magazine called Mode based in Manhattan published by Bradford Meade. What makes this series different from “The Devil Wears Prada” is that Betty was hired as a personal assistant to curb Bradford’s son, Daniels habit of sleeping with his assistants.

Betty and Daniel become friends and start helping each other through their profession and person lives. Working for Mode has been difficult for the two co-workers. The biggest threat would be the multiple plots to steal Daniel’s job to seize control over the Meade empire. Later in the season Betty gets loyal friends, strong support from her family and some fashion sense. They’re rumors that Ugly Betty may come out with a movie.
